For the installation of a new socket, the Mr Electric electrician and electrical contractor will need to break into the existing ring main. The electrician and electrical contractor will most likely have to run a spur from an existing socket or from a junction box. When the electrician has completed this task the cable is run to the new position of the socket and a mounting box will be fitted. This will hold the socket securely in position and will be explained in more detail by your Mr Electric electrician and electrical contractor. The Mr Electric electrician will fit the cable in position and the mounting box can now be installed in the correct place. The electricians and electrical contractors may cut the socket into the wall if required to provide a flush finish. We will offer a solution to suit your requirements and make sure the socket or switch is in the optimum position while making sure electrical regulations are upheld. The electrician will prepare the wiring and make sure that the installation is connected correctly and explain to you all the aspects of the installation. We are finding that many electrical appliances are being operated by numerous extension cables. A permanent solution offering multiple sockets in a room offers a better alternative given the electrical safety benefits.
Our electricians will offer a number of sockets and switches which can be the same as the current switches or offer you solutions to change all the sockets and switches in your home or business premises with decorative sockets.
