MR. ELECTRIC ELECTRICIANS TO CONSERVE ENERGYWith reports demonstrating that the average household could save up to 1.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year by making their home more energy efficient , the UK’s leading local electrician contracting firm, Mr. Electric, is launching its international ‘Conserve’ campaign to help reduce the effect of domestic and businesses affect on the environment. Clive Houlston, managing director for Mr. Electric, explains the initiative: “Our increased impact on the environment can by reduced by some simple changes to the products we use and the way in which we work, which is why we’re launching Conserve to promote a more energy efficient approach to electrical installation.” |

Demonstrating the company’s commitment to both the environment and its customers’ budgets, Mr. Electric believes the latest improvements to its electricians working practices and the new products installed will go towards reducing monthly utility bills by up to £270 per year . Houlston continues: “Coupled with the installation of more energy efficient products by electricians, if we all consciously think about how to save energy in the home, such as turning off light switches when leaving a room or even turning the washing machine down to 30o, we can go someway reducing our negative impact on the planet. “So whether our electricians are installing complex electrical solutions or just an energy efficient light bulb, we are committed to being environmentally responsible.” Mr. Electric’s expert electricians have been specifically trained in the installation of the new products and are on hand to discuss energy efficiency in the home as well as environmentally-friendly products such as electrical wire encasing, which is made from recycled materials. “Everyone knows about climate change. Every time you open a newspaper, turn on the radio or TV you see or hear something new about it. The ability to discuss and ultimately undertake actions to reduce our affect on the environment and climate change both in the home and at work is increasingly important for all of us.” Clive concludes: “For those who would like to find out more about how they can reduce carbon emissions either at home or in their place of work, I’d encourage them to contact their local Mr-Electric electrician to register their interest in our Conserve campaign.” |
