Progress update on future EVHS and WCS changes:<\/h2>\n

“This is an important update on the future of the OZEV Chargepoint Grants for homes and businesses.<\/p>\n

The aim is to provide you with the information you need to plan for the upcoming changes.<\/p>\n

This will be the first of a series of communiques as we transition from the current schemes to the future schemes.<\/p>\n

These will be ad-hoc and detail relevant developments you should be aware of.<\/p>\n

Provisional timeline for new services:<\/h2>\n

The reforms to the EVHS and WCS will be provided via a new digital service and an update to the current WCS platform. These are being built now. Below are the latest timings for the public launch of the different grant offerings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The chargepoint grant for \u201cresidential landlords and management companies\u201d (including freeholders or factors of multi-unit properties) \u2013 estimated launch date: mid-late February 2022.<\/li>\n
  2. The chargepoint grant for \u201ccommercial landlords\u201d \u2013 estimated launch date: mid-late February 2022.<\/li>\n
  3. The chargepoint grant for \u201cCharities and small accommodation businesses\u201d, will be delivered through the existing WCS portal \u2013 estimated launch date: late February 2022.<\/li>\n
  4. The chargepoint grant for \u201cresidential carparks\u201d \u2013 estimated launch date: March 2022.<\/li>\n
  5. The chargepoint grant for \u201cSME staff\/fleet carparks\u201d \u2013 estimated launch date: March 2022.<\/li>\n
  6. The chargepoint grant for \u201crenters and people living in flats\u201d \u2013 estimated launch date: March 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    All dates are provisional at this stage. We will provide regular updates.<\/p>\n

    End of manual processing for the EVHS scheme<\/h2>\n

    This is a reminder that all EVHS installations under the current scheme need to be completed by the 31 March 2022 and all claims must be submitted to DVLA by 30 April 2022.<\/p>\n

    The EVHS will close to re-submissions on the 31 March 2023. After this date DVLA will not accept any new re-submissions.<\/p>\n

    This is the latest communication from OZEV and more will follow as we get it.<\/p>\n

    If you are interested in a charger for home or work, it looks like the current scheme will end early next year, so please contact Mr. Electric for a quote and install ASAP.<\/p>\n

    It also looks like Landlords and the smaller hospitality world will be included from February\/March next year and if you want a charger ready for the new (ongoing, as it seems to be in Cornwall!) season, please contact us so we can advise further and quote for you.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
