Your Last Chance to See Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade
If you are a fan of Disney, then this is something you do not want to miss. If you have ever been to Walt Disney World, you most likely know about The Main Street Electrical Parade, which is a parade full of floats that twinkle in the evening darkness.
The parade honours some Disney favourites, including ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘Snow White’, ‘Pinocchio’ and more! However, it is soon to be no more, as the parade will make its final run on October 9, so if you aren’t planning on going to Walt Disney World anytime soon, you won’t be able to see it in person.
There is a silver lining, though! This Sunday you have the opportunity to watch a Livestream of the parade on the Disney Parks Blog! At 8:55pm ET, which means it’s at the late hour of 1:55am for us here in the UK, you will be able to watch the whole parade as it travels down Main Street in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
iNSIDE Disney Parks announced the Livestream details yesterday in a video posted on their YouTube channel. The parade does move to Disneyland Resort in California for a limited-time encore beginning early 2017.
This show is definitely not something to miss, Disney fan or not! The parade is a spectacular presentation of floats and live performers covered in thousands of electronically controlled lights, along with a synchronised soundtrack!
Disney is known for making normal things become magical, so if you want your bank holiday Monday, to begin with, a little magic, you should stay up for this! We know we will be!
As we have said before in previous posts, lighting can make a room special, and if you are looking to improve your home with some lighting features (it doesn’t have to be a parade with thousands of lights!) give the experts at Mr. Electric a call!
